After writing this post, I was invited to make a short film for the Daily Politics to discuss the Government’s Obesity “strategy”.

Emma Burnell is a socialist, feminist, environmentalist and proud long-standing Labour member.
Emma can occasionally be found relaxing over a glass or several of wine and singing songs of the old left. Emma is neither New nor Old Labour but a Heath-Robinson contraption of ideas from the best of both and all areas of the progressive movement.

Emma
Really powerful having you speak about your personal journey and starting to articulate how we (public sector, media, society) should address obesity. But where does this go next? I have experience in my ward of some intitiatives, but they don’t seem to have traction. Ruth
